Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef/Cook to join our team. As a Weekend Breakfast Cook, Friday/Sat/Sun, you will play an essential role in our kitchen and food service operations, ensuring the highest level of food service is provided to our customers. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes within your designated area of responsibility, following the menu specifications accurately.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the preparation of food according to recipes and cooking standards established by the head chef.
Work independently or as part of a team to ensure efficient and smooth operations in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Assist in further prep as required for the kitchen, and assist in the continued cleanliness of the kitchen.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a breakfast chef or cook in a busy kitchen or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet high-quality standards.
Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Reliable, hard-working, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic work environment.
