Hotel Accommodation in Solihull, Near the NEC Birmingham
The Limes Country Lodge is a privately owned hotel set in six acres of rural grounds in Earlswood, on the edge of Solihull. We sit just half a mile from Junction 3 of the M42, around a 15 minute drive from the NEC Birmingham, giving guests fast, direct access to the NEC, Birmingham Airport and the wider Solihull business district, while still offering the peace and quiet of a countryside setting.
Whether you are staying overnight for business, travelling to a show or exhibition, or simply looking for a comfortable base to explore Solihull and the surrounding Warwickshire countryside, our rooms are designed for a relaxed, restful stay after a busy day.
Our rooms
We offer a range of room types to suit different stays, from Standard Double rooms for a straightforward overnight stop, through to our Deluxe Double and Superior Twin rooms, and our Superior Suite for a more spacious stay. Each room is finished to a comfortable, contemporary standard, with the quiet of our rural grounds right outside the window, whatever the reason for your visit.
Rooms are available on a room-only, bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and breakfast basis, so you can build a stay that suits your schedule, whether that is an early start for a meeting or a more relaxed leisure break.
Guests staying with us have full use of our restaurant and bar in the evening, so there is no need to head back out after a long day. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 10am on Saturday and Sunday.
However long you are staying, our reception team is on hand throughout your visit for anything from local recommendations to help with an early departure or a late arrival.
Close to the NEC Birmingham and M42 Junction 3
The Limes sits just half a mile from Junction 3 of the M42, around a 15 minute drive from Junction 6 for the NEC, Birmingham Airport, Resorts World and the National Motorcycle Museum. That puts you within easy reach of the exhibition centre and airport while staying somewhere quieter than an on-site hotel, with the countryside right outside your window.
Free on-site parking is available for guests, so there is no need to factor in separate airport or exhibition car park costs on top of your room. If you have a specific NEC event or exhibition date in mind, our team can confirm availability and talk through the fastest route in from wherever you are travelling.
A base for business travel
Solihull and the NEC corridor is one of the busiest business and events destinations in the West Midlands, and The Limes is positioned to serve it without the noise and traffic of an on-site hotel. Guests travelling for meetings, conferences or exhibitions in the area, or working with businesses across Solihull and the wider West Midlands, will find us a quiet, comfortable base with easy motorway access in every direction.
We also host our own conferences and meeting rooms on-site, so if your trip combines travel with a meeting of your own, do take a look at our conference facilities as part of the same visit. Corporate accounts and repeat business bookings are welcome; speak to our team directly to set one up.

It is this combination, close enough to the NEC and Solihull for business, quiet enough to feel like a proper break, that guests tell us they value most about staying with us. Many of our leisure guests combine a stay with dinner in our restaurant, or extend their visit with afternoon tea before heading home, making the most of the grounds and setting rather than just passing through.
