Where we are
The Limes sits in six acres of rural grounds in Earlswood, right on the edge of Solihull. We are just half a mile from Junction 3 of the M42, around a 15 minute drive from the NEC Birmingham, which puts Solihull town centre, the NEC and Birmingham Airport all within easy reach, while still giving you a genuinely quiet countryside setting to come back to at the end of the day.
Who stays with us
We see three kinds of guests fairly evenly through the year: business travellers working in Solihull or attending meetings and conferences nearby, visitors heading to the NEC for an exhibition, show or event, and leisure guests using us as a peaceful base to explore Solihull and the Warwickshire countryside.
Whichever applies to you, the appeal tends to be the same: easy motorway access without the noise and traffic of a city centre or airport hotel.
Our rooms
Rooms range from Standard Double for a straightforward overnight stop, up to Deluxe Double, Superior Twin and our Superior Suite for a more spacious stay. All are available on a room-only, bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and breakfast basis, so you can build a stay around your schedule, whether that is an early start for a meeting or a relaxed weekend.
Staying near the NEC
If your visit is specifically for the NEC, whether exhibiting, working an event, or attending a show, we are close enough for an easy journey without paying the premium that comes with staying directly on the exhibition site. Free on-site parking is available, so you will not need to budget separately for exhibition or airport parking. We are used to hosting guests travelling to the NEC together for the same show, and can talk through room availability if you are booking as a group.

A base for business
Solihull and the NEC corridor are among the busiest business destinations in the West Midlands, and The Limes gives you a quiet, comfortable base with fast access in every direction. We also host our own conferences and meeting rooms on-site, so if your trip includes a meeting of your own, it can all happen in one place.
Guests staying with us for business have full use of our restaurant and bar in the evening, so there is no need to head back out after a long day of meetings. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 10am on Saturday and Sunday.
A countryside break in Solihull and Warwickshire
If you are visiting for leisure rather than business, our six acres of grounds offer a proper sense of space that you simply will not find at a city centre or airport hotel. Solihull town centre, Earlswood Lakes and the wider Warwickshire countryside are all within easy reach for a day out, and many guests combine their stay with dinner in our restaurant or afternoon tea before heading home.
